- Location: Greenwich
- Rewards: 5,500 XP
IMPORTANT NOTE - This is the final story mission in the game, and will be your last chance to craft suits, suit mods, and gadget upgrades to use in this final encounter. You'll still be able to explore Manhattan after this story concludes, but you may want to make sure you have as many gadget upgrades as you can, and the best suit mods you can afford.
MJ has a hunch that if Spidey can't save the day, maybe Peter can - which means it's time to head back to Octavius Labs one last time to figure out the weakness in the design of his prosthetic arm-tentacle things. As you make your way there, you'll also learn that Silver Sable is leaving due to a crisis of conscience - but her team is staying behind, so don't expect any hugs from the other patrols you'll run into on the way to Greenwich.

Enter the lab, and peter will embark on one last extreme science project to create a suit with the capability to stop Octavius - hopefully.
Now Peter must head to the top of Oscorp tower to engage in the final battle - hope you're ready!

Defeat Doctor Octopus
When you finally engage Doc Ock, you'll have a new suit to fight him in, with the power to resupply the stock of your currently selected gadget - but more importantly, you'll need to be ready to dodge his crazy arms at a moments notice.
He can lunge at you with one or two arms to slam down, or try and stab you with a quick extended lunge with a single arm that has extended range.
Be especially wary when he leaps up into the air, as you'll need to do a Far Dodge - a dodge followed by a jump - to avoid his initial attack and then the shockwave that follows it.
Keep dodging those attacks, and when you get a moment to breathe, pepper him with Web Shots to gum up his legs, until you can see a prompt to zip in and start pummeling the guy.

This won't last long, as he'll eventually throw you off, and start hurling chunks of the building at you.
Quickly swing around the building's tower, and wait for him to launch more debris at you - hold L1 + R1 to send it flying back at him to electrify him and stun him, and keep building this up until you can once again zip into him to attack.
Once you get enough hits on him to zip in and slam him into the ground, he'll explode the roof into a super-heated mass, meaning you won't be able to stay grounded.
At this point, keep swinging and air dodging around the tower he's clinging to, and avoid or throw back the debris he keeps hurling at you.

If it's giving you too much trouble, try slowing down time by holding L2 and aim at him with Web Shooters or other gadgets to unload, and use your Suit Power to replenish the shots. Don't worry, the Suit Power has a very fast recharge time, so don't be afraid to unload everything you have at him.
Once you get him stunned on the tower, zip to him and smack him down to the roof below, and the fight will cycle back to the start. Repeat the process of web shotting to slow him down so you can attack him up close.
When he starts hurling objects at you, hurl them back or keep hitting him after dodging, then finally swing around the tower away from the floor to get back to that final blow.
After the next sequence, things will get pretty intense, culminating on a sideways battle on the building. Your gadgets will all be busted, so focus entirely on dodging his strikes, and countering with some punches of your own.

The rest of this battle comes down to that: beating down Otto with everything you have, and watching for incoming tentacles to dodge before continuing the assault.
Do this, and you'll finally beat him back to trigger the dramatic finish to this clash - and you'll be able to view the resulting conclusion of the story.
Congratulations, Spider-Man, you've saved the city! You'll now be able to return to Manhattan, and any Side-Missions, Bases, and other activities will still be available (and crime never truly goes away).
In addition, you can now change the time of day at any of Harry's Research Stations from day to night or sunset. If you want to get some additional closure, perhaps you should head to the F.E.A.S.T. center, or to Ben Parker's grave on the North side of the Trinity Cemetery in Harlem.
